The short answer: what you'll pay in Como

Prices for a hands-on pasta class in central Como usually fall between 120 and 180 euro per person, depending on group size, what you make and what's poured alongside it. At Mani in Pasta the price is 150 euro per person for a session of about three hours, in a small group of up to 12 guests. We're a short walk from the lakefront and the historic centre, on Via Teresa Ciceri, and there is no upfront payment: you send a request and we confirm by email or WhatsApp.

What's included at 150 euro

The figure isn't just for a lesson; it covers a full afternoon or evening with a meal at the end. For 150 euro per person you get:

  • Your own panetto of flour and eggs to knead from scratch, one ball per guest.
  • A spritz lesson while the dough rests: you build your own Aperol or Campari spritz and drink it as the aperitivo.
  • Hand-rolling the sfoglia with the wooden matterello and shaping your own pasta, the method taught at Rina Poletti's Accademia della Sfoglia.
  • The full sit-down meal of everything you cooked, finished with gelato dressed in Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP.
  • English and French support throughout (Italian too), so nothing gets lost in translation.

Good value next to a restaurant dinner

Set against a sit-down dinner for two on the lake, where wine and a few courses climb quickly, the class lands in similar territory but gives you far more: a skill you keep, a drink you made, three unhurried hours and a meal you cooked yourself. It reads less like a ticket and more like an evening out with something to take home. Larger private groups are welcome at a special rate on request, and a gift voucher covers the same experience for someone else.

What you'll cook

The 150 euro covers any of our four classes, each built on the same hand-rolled sfoglia: the flagship Tagliatelle with fresh tomato, Tagliatelle with ragù Bolognese, green Ravioloni with ricotta, or Farfalle and Garganelli with ragù.
