Where is the cooking class in Como?
The class is at Via Teresa Ciceri 10A, 22100 Como, Italy — about a 10-minute walk from the historic centre and the lakefront. It is easy to reach on foot from Como’s train stations.
Is the cooking class in English?
Yes. Classes are taught in English and in French. You do not need to speak Italian. More on this in the cooking class in Como in English.
How long is the cooking class?
A class lasts about 3 hours, from the welcome at the bench to the gelato at the table. See how a class works, step by step.
What do you make in the cooking class?
You make fresh, hand-rolled egg pasta from scratch — tagliatelle, ravioloni, farfalle or garganelli depending on the masterclass. Along the way you have a spritz lesson, building your own Aperol or Campari spritz and sipping it as your aperitivo, then sit down to eat your own pasta with wine and finish with gelato and a few drops of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP. Choose between tagliatelle with fresh tomato, tagliatelle with ragù, green ravioloni or farfalle and garganelli.
Is the cooking class good for couples, families and beginners?
Yes to all three. Sessions are small (up to 12 guests), hands-on and beginner-friendly — no experience needed. It is a popular date for couples and works well for families; children are welcome with an accompanying adult.
Do I pay online or upfront?
No. You book by request with no upfront payment and no card details. We confirm within 24 hours by email or WhatsApp and settle payment together (bank transfer or Stripe) around the class.
How do I book, and what if I need to cancel?
Send the booking form with your preferred class, date and number of guests; we reply within 24 hours. Because nothing is charged upfront, changing or cancelling a not-yet-confirmed request costs you nothing — just let us know.
What if it rains?
The class runs rain or shine: it is entirely indoors in our kitchen. That makes it one of the best things to do in Como on a rainy day.
How do I get there from Como or Milan?
From Como’s centre or either train station it is a short, flat walk to Via Teresa Ciceri 10A. From Milan, Como is roughly 40 minutes by train (Milano Centrale → Como San Giovanni, or Milano Cadorna → Como Nord Lago), then a 10-minute walk.
Can you do private classes or larger groups?
Yes. Standard sessions take up to 12 guests; private classes and larger private groups (hen parties, birthdays, corporate or family events) are arranged on request at a special rate.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegetarian options?
Yes. We can arrange gluten-free and vegetarian versions of the class, and accommodate most allergies and dietary needs — just tell us when you book so we can prepare.
When does the cooking class run?
Classes run on weekday evenings and on weekend mornings and evenings, by request. Tell us your preferred date and we confirm availability within 24 hours.
